The beaches- For a cheap day out, nothing could be better than the experience of Cape Town’s beaches. The warmest water can be found along the False Bay Coast, providing a suitable swimming area for families and surfers alike. The coastline also offers picturesque walks for all levels of fitness.
Nightlife-If you are looking for a lively night out, Cape Town does not fail to deliver. The city’s passion for music is instantly recognisable to any visitor and a warm welcome and cheap drink is readily available.
Getting there:Cape Town International Airport is situated approximately 22km east of the city centre. Getting to and from the airport is not a problem with a taxi service readily available, though the shuttle service may be a cheaper option if you are traveling on a budget.
Location and weather: Situated along the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean, the city tends to enjoy a mild yet fairly consistent climate. The warmest time of the year to go is between October and March when temperatures can reach up to 26 degrees Celsius.
Top tip: The Castle of Good Hope is the oldest structure in South Africa and is not to be missed as a real cultural experience.
