Cheap flights to Dusseldorf

Charming and modern, Dusseldorf is one of Germany’s most pleasant cities to visit. Offering all you need for a good night out, it also boasts 260 pubs, appropriately naming it the ‘longest bar in the World’.

Things to see and do:
-Hofgarten-One of the nicest parks in Dusseldorf, it offers much more than the opportunity for a gentle walk. Old and modern sculptures can be found all around the greenery.
- Beer-With so many pubs available in this city, there really is no excuse not to try some of the famous ‘Altbier, the oldest style of beer available in Germany. It is brewed in Dusseldorf and so offers a unique drinking experience.
- Museums-There are a vast number of museums in the city and all offer something to keep the most varied minds interested. In particular the ‘film mueum’ is very popular giving the chance to look at costumes and props from a whole range of films.

Getting there: Dusseldorf International Airport is a busy yet efficient airport that is served by many international flights. Trains and buses run frequently from the airport to the city centre.

Location and weather: The weather in this city is not one of its finest points. Winters are the coldest to be found in the country and the summers are generally very cool and interrupted by frequent showers of rain. The city is situated in the West of Germany.

Top tip: There is a prominent sense of rivalry between Cologne and Dusseldorf, so try not to mix the two up whilst visiting the city!
